With the recent passing of the legendary Bob C. Cock, there has been an outpouring of support from Primus fans. The friends and family of Bob have truly appreciated the kind words that many fans have had to say about this unique and powerful man. This week we share with you some of the emails that we have received in the weeks following Bob's departure from this earth.

Bob is gone, but I have still not quite come to grips with all of this. I miss Bob, dammit. I used to write him many times a week, and even though he never wrote me back, it still was fun to write him. To imagine somewhere in sunny California Bob was sitting in his living room, stoned off his ass watching the Brady Bunch on his enormous television and maybe, just maybe, reading the letter I wrote him that week. The constant letters I would write at him recently bitching at him to write more damn articles. All in vain. Dammit, dammit, dammit. I get even more depressed by all the crazy people on the stupid Primus Bull Board babbling out their damn theories on why Bob is still alive. This adds insult to injury. I hope when I die I don't get any morons sitting around making lame theories why I'm still secretly alive. I doubt I will though because I don't have the capabilities to ever be as cool as Bob. But I still miss him. Bob's weekly rant was like heroin for me. It cheered me up, made me paranoid, and helped me to forget what a total bitch my little sister is. I needed that when I would come home from school on Mondays, all tired and pissed and hating people. I liked to come home and see there was someone else who hated people just a little more that me...it gave me hope. I will really miss Bob and his overwhelming wrath and mercy-free criticizing of everything.

Bob C Cock was one of the greatest intellects and outspoken badasses of the 90's. Bob was one of the few men in America that had "celebrity" status and balls big enough to call all who believe in a higher power "completely useless fucking morons". People criticized him because of his brutal honesty and explicit use of the English language, but, as Bob would say, those people can "fuck off". Goddamnit, I'm going to miss Mr. Cock. Fuck off Bob, you suck pole.

Do appearences at like pancake houses and truck stops so you can be like Elvis, or Jesus. Yeah, be like Jesus. So, anyway yeah Bob I like your plan but your "last column" was too convenient to be believable, especially ending with that "sometimes it just sucks to be alive" bit. You wanna know what I think? There is NO WAY Bob Cock is dead. Normally, I would say that it's no real loss, but I believe that some people build up so much negative karma that death is a release, not a punishment. Our Bobby is one such person. Bringing the term "asshole" to incredible new levels, he constantly pissed me off, never made me think, and generally wasted my time. If this is some sort of lame hoax, then it just proves to me that Bob Cock is an idiot. If he's dead, then good riddance.

I would like to say it was a sad and mournful day when I heard about what happened to Bob. Bob was a very intellectual person and funny as hell. I cried when I heard about this, and that is a very hard thing to do. I wish Bob a very happy afterlife and I wish his family the best of luck. It will never be the same without Bob at the Primus New Year's Freakout. Bob, I will miss you. Your spirit will live on in everyone.

Bob C. Cock - a brilliant, hilarious, supremely intelligent and witty man - taken from us before his time. This man went with Primus like a running wheel goes with a hamster. I will always look back fondly on his ingenious comedy. The way he molded the things he saw into an excellent vision. Taking meaningless, confusing spirals of reality and somehow twisting them around to make perfect sense, while making you shit your pants in a huge guffaw in the process. Give em hell in the afterlife, Bob. You will be missed.
